After much deliberation, it has been decided that we should probably drop the crumpets club from action at KU. It's simply too much effort. The pay off is nice. I mean, it's fun and all. But, seriously, couldn't we be having just as much fun sitting around in our respective living facilities? I've already put all my equipment on e-bay and it's fetching $90 from some crumpet player in Wisconsin (wouldn't you pay $90 for the ORIGINAL crumpets equipment?). It's been a fun ride. Sorry to make it end like this.

I've been a very regular crumpeter for some time now, and this is very upsetting. Maybe the game has become too intense for some people, or maybe it was just basketball season, but those of us who go to play know that attendence hasnt exactly been at an all time high recently.

I want to encourage everyone who reads this (and I'll probably have to call some people if that number is going to be more than 3) to come this Sunday - ready to play, and ready to say what you want to see happen to make the game better.

This is tragic. I dont care what it takes, I will outbid the Wisconsonian for the crumpet gear. Robbie has done too much for the club for this to happen. Do it for him!

Crumpets is my stress relief, remember? We can't sell my stress relief for $90. It's priceless! I have fun playing....Crumpets is what gets me through the week. In class, I sit there, staring off into space, thinking, "I wish it were sunday. then I'd be playing Crumpets." I then tell myself, "soon, Melissa, soon. Sunday comes faster than you think."

I will be there Sunday. And you (yeah, you there) had better be there too.
