Are we nixing the trip this fall? Leaving Friday afternoon/evening and taking turns driving, we could all get to Indiana late, late at night, play all-day Saturday, drive home Sunday. Spring break just seems too far away

October would make for some great weather, and as I mentioned in my earlier post, there are some state parks with camping options almost exactly between Lawrence and Ithaca, the two farthest teams.

Not that Indianapolis is a bad place, but it'd save an hour's worth of driving from Ithaca, and Peru, IN is home to the Circus Hall of Fame or something.

Unfortunately, NY players really can't travel this fall because nearly all of us are in marching band. You might be able to get PA to play, but NY will really have to wait for spring. College time does go by quickly, though, and on the plus side, it will be more relaxed if it's the first weekend of spring break.

Sounds like fun, but count me in with the marching band folks.... weekends booked pretty much for all of the fall.

My fall break is already spoken for as well, and I'm not entirely sure that I can do the spring one either. If I do, I'll be driving from Kansas to Indiana with the crumpeters, but then leaving from there to continue on to Virginia, which means they'd be a car short going back.
